A call gets the fastest sorting: what the car is doing, where it sits, and what the visit costs, usually settled before the kettle boils. A text works better when hands are full, yours or mine; send the address, the vehicle, and the trouble in your own words, with a photo if the problem is visible. Replies come from under hoods between tasks, which most days is quicker than voicemail tag anyway. However it starts, it ends the same: a price, a time, and a plan.

What Makes the Visit Smooth

Have the car reachable, keys findable, and the trouble described however it comes naturally, sound effects welcome and honestly useful. Mention if the car sits in a parking garage, behind a gate, or on a street the tourists clog by ten. Payment is card or the usual apps after the test drive, receipt by text with everything itemized. Booking for someone else, a parent on the islands, a student downtown, works fine: say whose phone gets the updates and the story gets told to the right audience.

When Voicemail Picks Up

If it rings through to voicemail, a wrench is turning somewhere; leave the neighborhood and the symptom and the callback comes at the next clean pause, almost always within the working hour. Twenty words, and it answers everything the schedule needs: the car, the symptom, the place, the deadline.
